Our real estate finance team combines the experience of lawyers from our corporate and banking practices with the highly regarded expertise of our real estate team. We are specialists in structuring real estate investment and financing for lenders, investors and developers.

Our clients include UK financial institutions, conduit lenders and overseas banks as well as some of the UK's largest real estate developers and investors.

Lending transactions are becoming more complex and challenging. Factors for this include the growth in real estate securitisation, increasingly complex corporate 'wrappers' for property driven transactions and property companies increasing their emphasis on asset management rather than direct property ownership.

We have the experience and capability to meet these challenges.

Secured lending has become an increasingly active area for us in recent years. Our lawyers have the capacity and ability to deal with large complex structured finance deals and are fully conversant with established methodology as well as being able to create innovative structures including pooled investment vehicles.
