Acts for local authorities and housing associations on a wide range of issues with the emphasis upon housing, externalisation, charitable trusts, regeneration, joint ventures and public procurement.
 
Has had a distinguished career in London local government, having been an elected member of Bromley Council for over 20 years and a member of the Greater London Council during the Ken Livingstone years. He served as Chairman of the London Boroughs Association Housing and Social Services Committee and in that capacity advised housing ministers on housing issues.

• Advising on large scale voluntary transfer of housing stock such as Maidstone Borough Council (5000 homes), Chelmsford Borough Council (6700), West Wiltshire Housing Society (4000), Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council (25,000), Coventry City Council (20,000), Havebury Housing Partnership (6000) and Severnside Housing Partnership (5000)
• Conducted feasibility studies and/or implementation for the externalisation of local authority leisure and cultural services at Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council, Lewes District Council, Vale of White House District Council and Canterbury City Council
• Advised extensively on regeneration schemes including for Slough Borough Council, Waverley Borough Council, London Borough of Enfield and Oxford City Council 
• Provides full range of advice to housing associations such as Spectrum Housing Group, First Wessex Housing Group, Havebury Housing Partnership and Selwood Housing Society including commercial contracts, regulatory, EU procurement and joint ventures
