Expertise

Hugh is LG's Managing Partner, effective 1 February 2008. He was formerly Head of Business & Finance and his legal expertise is in corporate finance (flotations and secondary issues), takeovers, mergers, acquisitions, disposals, private equity, venture and development capital (including investment agreements and joint ventures).

He is particularly interested in acting for entrepreneurs, small/medium-sized growth companies and medium-sized investment banks/corporate finance houses.
Hugh's recent experience has involved a reasonable amount of work in the healthcare sector (mainly with nursing homes, healthcare staffing and domiciliary care provision) and in the renewable energy sector (wind and biodiesel).

Hugh is a member of the firm's North America Group.
