Experience

• Advised Warrinda Retail LPon the redevelopment of the extension to Golden Square Shopping Centre, Warrington. This deal included advising on the agreement for lease with the anchor tenant, Debenhams, the development agreement with Warrington Borough Council, the property aspects of the conditional disposal of the existing centre and the benefit of the development agreement to Warrington Retail Limited Partnership
• Advised Bank of Scotland on the property aspects of a refinancing and funding for the redevelopment of the In & Out Club, Piccadilly as a new five star hotel
• Advised Hermes Real Estate Investment - Advised in connection with the redevelopment of Matbird Retail Park, Stratford Upon Avon and the acquisition of seven industrial units at Speke, Liverpool
• Advised GMAC Commercial Mortgage Bank on the property aspects of multi million pound facility to fund the acquisition of Vintners Place, London EC1 from Blackstone Partners on behalf of a JV vehicle between GMAC and REIT
• Advising a consortium of investors on the real estate aspects of the acquisition and funding of 47 Mariott branded hotels
• Other clients include: Legal & General Assurance Society Limited and HBOS
  Advising Waverly Borough Council in connection with the development of Farnham Town Centre
• Project managed and advised the disposal of the Phillip Pensions Fund portfolio for £90 million
• Acting on instruction of McCaffery Asset Management, coordinating the acquisition and finance of 500 million euro German and Swiss properties for the Numisma fund
