Experience

• Advised Cove Energy plc on its acquisition of certain oil and gas assets in Mozambique and Tanzania which constituted a reverse takeover under the AIM Rules along with its related £42 million fund-raising and subsequent £25 million secondary issue
• Advised Arthur J Gallagher (UK) Limited on the sale of Gallagher Re's treaty and certain parts of its facultative broking business in the UK to Aon 
• Advised Arthur J Gallagher (UK) Limited on its acquisition of Oxygen Insurance Managers Limited
• Advised Zijin Tongguan, a consortium of three major Chinese companies, including Zijin Mining Group Company Limited, on its recommended offer for Monterrico Metals plc, an AIM-quoted company, valuing the company at £95 million
• Advised Knightsbridge Petroleum (UK) Limited on the US$470 million sale of its Latin American oil interests to French-listed oil company, Maurel et Prom
• Advised Grundon Waste Management Limited on its joint venture arrangements with Viridor Waste Management Limited in respect of the £180 million Lakeside energy from waste facility
• Advised Arthur J Gallagher (UK) Limited on the sale of its Asian subsidiary, Arthur J Gallagher Asia Pte Limited, to its Singapore-based management
