Acted for Caring Homes Group Limited on its joint venture with Inner Circle for the development of care homes

Acted for Vector Properties Limited acting as asset managers on behalf of 57 Danish private investment vehicles in relation to the transfer of 57 residential care homes formerly operated by the Southern Cross Group of Companies to new operators including Four Seasons, Care UK and Countrywide

Acted for Cygnet 2008 Limited on its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Cygnet 2002 Limited for £340 million. We also acted for Cygnet Health Care Limited on its acquisition of Springs Community Limited

Acted for Circle in respect of the financing of its Reading hospital by Ropemaker Properties Limited and various group reorganisations

Acted for Audley Court Limited on a £21 million ‘assisted living’ joint venture with Raven Group, and the acquisition of two domiciliary care businesses

Acted for the management team of Raven Audley Court PLC advising the team on the disposal of Audley to a subsidiary of the Moorfield Group, MREF Holdings SARL

Acted for Parexel International Corporation on its commercial contracts with leading pharmaceutical companies, and corporate and litigation matters including in relation to an adverse reaction by six volunteers during a health trial

Acted for Queen Mary, University of London on a range of commercialisation projects, including:

- the development of technology relating to the detection of biomarkers based on micro-ribonucleic acid (microRNA) for the detection of various cancers and women’s health indications
- the use of annexin and related amino acid sequences for the management of inflammatory pathologies and arthritides
- the development of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies for oncology and cardiovascular indications

Acted for Re-Cognition Health, the specialist centre for the assessment, management and treatment of cognitive impairment on its start-up and initial inward investment

Acted for various healthcare providers in connection with real estate, redevelopment and planning issues, including Circle Partnership in connection with its new hospital, CircleReading
