Expertise
Elliot has a broad experience of corporate tax matters and has advised extensively on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, funds, capital raisings, corporate reorganisations, securitisations and banking and finance transactions.  He has a particular focus on advising clients on tax and structuring for real estate transactions and regularly advises funds, property investors and major UK corporations in the real estate sector.

Experience

At his previous firm he led the tax team advising on the Park House, Oxford Street forward funding transaction for Barwa Real Estate; the acquisition of the Walbrook Square site in the City for Bloomberg's UK headquarters; the sale and leaseback of the HSBC Tower at Canary Wharf; and the re-development of Elephant & Castle and the Stratford post-Olympics site for Australian developer, Lend Lease.

He has advised J Sainsbury plc on their real estate-based pension funding structure, their OpCo/Propco financing, various capital raisings and general tax matters.  Other clients include Lend Lease, Development Securities plc and Visa Europe.
