ExpertiseChristine is a highly experienced lawyer in our Real Estate practice. She specifically focuses on all aspects of property investment work for both institutional investors, high network individuals and has particular experience in developments, hotels and real estate finance.
For owners and investors in UK real estate, Christine leads an effective team that offer a full service to owners from acquisition finance to the ongoing management of real estate assets, this team working with other real estate advisers, have a proven track record in adding value to those assets. On the development side, Christine has acted on a number of development schemes of shopping centres and retail parks and is advising the owners and investors of the development of the Bvlgari Hotel and Residencies in Knightsbridge, London.
She also acts for a number of other hotel owners and is a key member of the hotel team within LG's leisure sector practice group.
On the real estate finance side, Christine works and advises a number of banks on real estate fundings and restructurings, in particular acting for German banks, mezzanine finance providers and servicers.

Christine has advised the owners and investors on the acquisition, redevelopment and subsequent letting of shopping centres and retail parks. In particular the acquisition and redevelopment of the shopping centre and extension at Golden Square, Warrington for Lend Lease and Legal & General, the redevelopment and extension of Maybird Retail Park Stratford upon Avon for Hermes Property Unit Trust, the development and extension of Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre, Sheffield for the BT Pension Fund
Hotel sector
The acquisition and management of the Bvlgari Hotel and Residencies, Knightsbridge, London. The acquisition and management of a large Marriott/Hilton Portfolio for the owners and investors.
Business sector
Advising on the acquisition and set up and financing of a new REIT fund focusing on high yielding business sector assets including offices, industrial and warehouse and distribution units. One of the advisers to the UK Distribution Fund, one of the advisers to LaSalle Investment Management in connection with the management of business sector assets for the Post Office Pension Fund.
Real estate finance
Advising DG HYP in connection with the finance to German Funds of UK Real Estate, the most recent transactions includes the financing of the N1 Centre Islington and 80 Gracechurch Street in the City, advising Capmark Services UK Limited in connection with the consensual disposal of St Katharine Docks. Acting for LBBW on acquisitions of the City Tower and Stonecutter Court.
