LG builds up Russian client base with new office in Moscow

Business law firm LG is pleased to announce the opening of its Moscow office, operating as Lawrence Graham CIS LLP.
LG has always had a strong track record of advising companies and enterprises investing in Russia and the CIS. The new office will be offering cross-practice advice and will focus on energy and natural resources in addition to banking and financial services, real estate (in particular financing and development), telecoms, wealth management and protection, and public sector and government relations.
The Moscow office will be headed up by the four Russian partners, supported by the London office. The Moscow team’s areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, corporate work, securities law, banking, finance (including project finance) and capital markets, bankruptcy and corporate recovery, all aspects of real estate and property, joint ventures, commercial contracts, antimonopoly law and regulation and all forms of dispute resolution.
LG Corporate and Finance partner Richard Elphick, leading on the Moscow office initiative, said: "We have an opportunity to expand this Russian practice, despite the global downturn.
