LG advises USS on portfolio joint venture with Tesco

The retail team at business law firm LG, has advised Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) – the second largest fund in the country – in purchasing a 50% share in an investment property portfolio joint venture with Tesco.
USS's purchase was among four separate sale and leaseback transactions recently completed by Tesco involving £605 million of property assets.
Real Estate partner Dan Gwilliam led the LG team, which included Claire Steel, Jonathan Legg, Will Fraser and Hannah Nicholls.
Dan said: "We are delighted to have worked on this high profile joint venture with USS and assist them in expanding the nature of their retail portfolio."
