LG advises Landsbanki Securities on water fund

The investment funds team at LG, the London-based business law firm, has advised Landsbanki Securities (UK) Limited ("Landsbanki"), the sponsor to Aqua Resources Fund Limited (“Aqua”), on its admission to trading on the Official List of the London Stock Exchange. Aqua is managed by Fourwinds Capital Management (“Fourwinds”).
The listing saw Aqua raise approximately €60 million for investment in a global portfolio of water-related investments.
The deal marks the second placing on which LG has advised Landsbanki in the past year. The LG team was led by corporate partner Oliver Riley with assistance from Naoshir Vachha.
Oliver Riley said: "The launch of Aqua in such testing market conditions is testament to Landsbanki’s and Fourwinds’ hard work." He added: "This deal has allowed us to continue developing our relationship with Landsbanki and we look forward to continuing to work with them on many more in the future.”
Dealings commenced on 24 July 2008.
