Senior property industry executive joins LG as Operations Director

John Heawood has joined the Real Estate team of LG, the business law firm, as Operations Director.
Working alongside Real Estate team heads Jon Lloyd and Rabinder Chaggar, John's role will focus on financial operations, as well as developing business opportunities.
John joins LG from SEGRO plc (formerly Slough Estates plc), where he was Group Executive Director and was responsible for the performance and management of the UK business during a period of significant growth. Prior to that we was a Director of DTZ, where he worked for 11 years before joining Slough. He is a Chartered Surveyor.
John said: "LG offers a compelling proposition, combining the strength and depth of its real estate capacity with its supporting services and strong business culture. The new challenge offered by this opportunity is exciting and we’re committed to building on the team's success."
Jon Lloyd, joint head of the LG Real Estate team, added: "John joins us with deep knowledge of the property sector and, importantly, significant insight into legal services from the point of view of our clients. His skills and knowledge will add real value to our business in this increasingly competitive market."
John's appointment took effect from Monday 20 October.
