LG advises Canadian-listed company on cross-border takeover

LG's corporate team is advising Canadian company PhotoChannel Networks Inc. ("PhotoChannel") - a digital photography technology company listed on Canada's TSX Venture Exchange on its takeover of digital photography provider, Pixology Plc ("Pixology").
The LG team advising PhotoChannel was led by corporate partner Lance Feaver and included Stephen Richards (corporate), Simon Malcolm (employment), Tessa Livock (employment) and Liz Ashby (share options).
Lance said: "We are delighted to work on this cross-border transaction that represents a major move into the UK market for PhotoChannel. Pixology is one of the UK's leading providers of digital photography technology - their clients include Tesco, for whom they power online operations, Jessops, for whom they provide kiosk technology and other leading digital photography brands such as Canon, Hewlett Packard, Kodak, Konica and Nikon, for whom they provide technology products.
The recommended cash offer for Pixology was made on 21 May 2007. DLA Piper advised Pixology.
