LG advises LaSalle UK Ventures Fund on string of property deals

Ambitious growth plans for new £1bn private equity fund
LG has advised new client LaSalle UK Ventures Fund – the £1bn private equity fund set up recently by LaSalle Investment Management – on three real estate purchases.
Reading Bridge House in Reading, Berkshire was purchased from HSI Active Property Fund for £30.75m.
A site at Vale Park, Evesham was purchased from Cirrus Properties and Barberry Developments which is marked for redevelopment into an office and light distribution centre with a projected end value of c.£65 million.
In addition, a site in Maidenhead is to be developed, in conjunction with Kenmore, with a gross development value of c.£35 million.
The LG team advising LaSalle UK Ventures Fund is led by real estate partner Jon Lloyd and includes finance partner Nick Turner and real estate partner Thelma Marshall, together with solicitors John Nystrom, Jonathan Lent, Philip Baker and Khalil Ahmad.
