LG advises leading Indian IT company on European acquisition

LG, the London-based business law firm, has advised Patni Computer Systems ("Patni") – a leading Indian IT services provider – on its acquisition of Europe-based Logan Orviss International ("LOI").
The acquisition adds strength and depth to Patni's communications and media consulting practice. LOI, a leading provider of telecoms consulting services, will become Patni's telecoms consulting and advisory practice.
Sunil Kakkad, head of LG's India Group, led the team advising Patni, which included Richard Evans, David Ponsford, Liz Ashby, Caroline Pugh and Abbie Lewis.
Sunil said: "LOI is a significant strategic acquisition for Patni and its first in Europe. I am delighted that LG was able to assist Patni with the acquisition."
