LG advises Japanese real estate fund on £100M AIM float

LG, the London-based law firm advised Japan Residential Investment Company Limited ("JRIC") – a newly incorporated Guernsey company established to invest in Japanese residential property assets - on its £100m admission to AIM. Trading in JRIC's shares commences today, 13 October 2006.

Corporate finance partner Nick Heather led the LG team advising JRIC and was assisted by Gillian McCarthy and John Reed.

Nick said: "JRIC has been very well received. This deal rounds off a highly successful month for our AIM funds practice - we have seen Pacific Alliance Asia Opportunity Fund Limited raise $275 million on its floatation and Dolphin Capital Investors Limited raise £202 million on a secondary issue".

Ernst & Young LLP acted as nominated adviser to JRIC and Fairfax I.S. Limited was broker. Ozannes provided legal advice in Guernsey.
