Debenhams Retail plc acquires new stores from Allders' administrators

LG advised Debenhams Retail plc on its acquisition of eight Allders stores from Kroll, Allders’ administrators.
The new stores are located in Portsmouth, Slough, Basildon, Chatham, Clapham, Ilford, Sutton and Woking.
LG real estate partner Catherine Diggle advised Debenhams Retail plc and led the Lawrence Graham team which included real estate partner Richard Miles and solicitors Duncan MacLaurin and Carol Elliott; tax partner Robert Field and solicitor Jonathan Legg; and insurance and pensions partner Robert Smith.

Having acted for the Debenhams group for over 20 years it was very satisfying to secure these stores for our client and to do so within less than a week of terms being agreed between the parties.”
