North America
Our North America Group includes lawyers who are experienced in a broad range of legal services, including M&A and capital raising, with a particular expertise on raising money on AIM and the Official List.
Our lawyers understand the different customs and practice in North America, although as M&A becomes increasingly international, these differences are becoming less marked. We often work alongside North American law firms and regularly receive instructions from outside the UK.
We have an excellent working relationship with accountants, brokers, tax advisers and investment banks which enable us to offer our clients access to appropriate professional advice. We often project manage cross-border transactions for disputes on behalf of North American clients, where we take responsibility for instructing and co-ordinating law firms and other professionals in different jurisdictions across Europe or elsewhere, to provide a seamless service.
London is an important centre for Litigation and our dispute resolution lawyers advise many international clients where arbitration proceedings are being held in London or where the dispute is governed by English Law.
