Europe remains a key part of the firm’s international strategy. LG is continually working to build and sustain strategic relationships across Europe and we work either with firms of our clients' choice or with chosen independent law firms in other jurisdictions. These firms are committed to working closely with us to offer an excellent service to our clients and enable us to deliver a consistent quality of legal advice throughout the world, in a seamless, efficient and cost effective manner.

In order to maintain these relationships and to keep abreast of important developments in other jurisdictions, we meet on a regular basis with these firms and we often have their lawyers seconded to our offices. A number of lawyers within the firm speak other languages, including French, German, Spanish and Russian.

As an example, the firm's Spanish Group works with Spanish law firms and clients seeking to do business in the UK or with UK based companies.

• Advising KBC Peel Hunt, nominated adviser and broker, on the £102m Placing and Admission to AIM of Nanette Real Estate Group N.V. - a residential property developer operating in major cities in Poland and Hungary
• Advising Sony Computer Entertainment Europe on aspects of its launch of PlayStation 3 and its related Network Platform
• Advising on a multi-jurisdictional trust and foundation structuring for a billionaire German industrialist family, including family office work in Monaco
• Acting for Lorenzi BV in the acquisition of a substantial site for development near Amsterdam, Netherlands
• Advising ARINC Inc on the implementation of its AeroMobile joint venture with Telenor, the Norwegian state-controlled telecoms company, to supply mobile services to airline passengers - Emirates being the first contracted customer
