Our lawyers act for a wide range of clients in the Middle East and Gulf region including local companies, foreign companies investing in the area and high net worth families based there. We have a long history of working with Middle Eastern clients and many links with the region as a result.

In October 2007 we opened our Dubai office. By establishing a permanent presence we further enhanced our ability to look after our clients' legal and business needs in the area.

We are able to provide an international and regional legal service to our clients. Our office also serves as a base from which we will continue servicing the legal and business needs of our clients based in the region and beyond, including India and South East Asia.

Our work includes Construction & Projects, Corporate, Finance, Corporate Recovery & Restructuring and Private Capital. Some recent examples of the firm's work include:

advising on a major specialist installation at the New Doha International Airport in Qatar
acting for a listed Kuwaiti fund developing a new 60 storey office project in Dubai

advising on a gas turbine power station project in Dubai
Advising regional families on global wealth structuring, including establishment of private trust companies and family office structures to manage global assets
Advising a Sharia-compliant, investment funds group, on capital raising issues
Advising a Bermuda based oil, gas and chemicals group with operations in South America, London and the Middle East
Acted for the lead consortium member on the contract for the supply of a cement plant in the Middle East
