Our Community & Charities
Supporting our local community and various charities close to our hearts is important to us.
For example, two of our real estate partners, Jon Lloyd and Rabinder Chaggar, recently scaled Africa’s highest peak in aid of Hope and Homes for Children. For their efforts they raised £35,000. This was added to funds provided by the firm and our staff which meant that a new family home could be constructed in Romania, giving vulnerable children a family and a future.
In the last year we have raised in excess of £130,000 for the Melanoma Research Foundation which provides valuable research into diagnosis and potential cures for the one in fifty people in Britain currently suffering from melanoma. Fundraising activities have included a charity dinner and quiz night, raffles and ice skating to name a few.
We also donated the money we would have spent on Christmas cards to charities for the last two years, allowing us to do a small bit for the environment at the same time.
Since our move to our offices at More London we have been involved closely in the local community. Our nominated charity this year is Kids, a charity whose aim is to enable disabled children and young people to develop their skills and abilities and fulfill their potential, hopes and aspirations. LG's involvement has included volunteers helping innovate a children's playground.
